This is a very finely crafted brass lamp base, dating to the early 220th century. The fine details include lionheads and floral cartouches, and the brass work is amazingly well executed. The lamp is easy to wire without damaging the brass. Please view all photos.

Here is a most unique and charming Chinese pewter KOI fish compote. The compote dates to the first quarter or the 19th century, or earlier. The pewter is tooled in a simple rustic pattern used on pewter items of this period. The eyes are clear hand blown glass, and the pewter is soft and malable. The fish compote is signed on the fishes forehead. This item is all original with no replacements.
This charming compote has been viewed and dated by Warren Imports of Laguna Beach California. Please see his companion #427359 a really wonderful pewter fish tea pot offered here as well.
Dimensions: 14" Length
7" Height
Condition: Excellent, some normal wear typical of the period. No repairs. Pewter is soft and can be bent.

A fine 18th century PEWTER TEA CADDY with applied hammered copper bird and flowering branch applique and copper rim on the original rolled liplid.
The ovoid tea jar has a soft mellow patina and beautifully worked hammered copper details. This tea caddy in Ginger jar form is a rare find as early pewter was frequently resmelted to make bullets and other lead implements as needed.
Dimensions: Height 5"(12.50cm)
Condition: Excellent Beautiful for period

CHINESE EXPORT TEA POT, Koi (Carp) figural early 19th century Chinese Export. Heavily chased and tooled pewter, copper trimmed edging on gills and surrounding red coral eyes. Top lid is well fitted and removable, shaped pewter handle swivels on original mounts. The pouring spout is his nose. No replacements. Stands on malable pewter feet. Dimensions:

Origin: Chinese for Export Condition: Very fine, normal wear of the period, pewter is soft, fins can be moved, no breaks or holes.

Chinese Koi (Carp) pewter compote or tureen, heavily and finely chased and tooled, signed by maker, circa mid 19th century. Tureen is in two parts, with hand blown glass eyes, wavy fins and tail, and interesting folk art details. Pewter is soft and maleble, and can be easily moved and adjusted for fit. The tureen is crafted in a charming naieve style, displays wonderfully. THIS KOI HAS ATTITUDE! *See his adorable companion Koi Teapot,a recent companion find. Length: 13" (33cm) Height: 7" (17.5 cm) Condition: Very good, wear consistent with age. No significant damage. Note: pewter is soft and can be reshaped. Origin: China, or Chinese colonial.
