Here is a very fine silver etched KUTANI probably Eiraku manufacture porcelain tea tray from the mid 19th century. The tray is large, early and just matches a tea set I have been holding for years, to be offered separately.
The famous Kutani red rust is the undertone, and the silver work (could be called a silvering) is of Dragons and character marks.
Tray is shown from a variety of angles, with additional pieces (cups, saucers, plates to be offered) in same motif, also signed.
Additionally, there is an Eiraku bowl offered elsewhere on Trocadero in a similar motif and silvered coloration.
Dimensions:exact measurements to follow
Condition: Excellent, good color, little loss to silver

Here is a mid 19th century JAPANESE TEA CEREMONY box featuring a charming rendition of sleeping Buddha with his bag used as a large pillow. Rendered to the Japanese taste, this exquisite lacquer box includes a bordered gilt tray with a subtle spray of tied chrysanthemums and leaves. The reverse of tray, lid and box interior are dusted with a gilt bronze nashiji ground. Condition is very fine, with very minor wear to gilt on edges, appropriate for a work of this period. Photos do not capture the whimsical nature of this stunning box .Additional photos upon request.
Dimensions:The covered box 6 1/2"(15.50cm) length;width 3 5/8"(9cm), and the height is 4"(10cm)
