Here is an unbelievable 18th century Quanyin (Guanyin) carrying a flowering lotus,of fine translucent RHINOCEROUS HORN,purchased earlier this year from a respected and advanced collector, selling his collections due to retirement. Rhino horn is not true horn, rather a finger nail like tissue and deeply compressed hair. PHOTO & shown here is of a similar Qwanyin figural sold at auction November, 2005 at Chaffins Auction Gallery London. I will include the file for interested parties. DIMENSIONS: 10" curved...
