CHINESE EXPORT PLATE, KANGXI period 1662-1722 with reticulated ring border typically KANGXI period, in underglaze iron red and oxidized cobalt blue, Chinese Imari palete accented by softly patinated ornamental carp or koi.Not only rare, but the plate has an exceptionally striking koi motif which displays beautifully. A real showstopper.
The plate is signed with caligraphy mark Artemesia Leaf on reverse. Dimensions: 12 Inches

A very rare pair of French, 19th century, Edmé Samson et Cie de Paris
miniature baluster shaped vases and domed covers as accent lamps.
The lamps decorated in 18th century, Chinese Famille Rose, export style,
with sprays and sprigs of summer flowers,
the oriental style flowers on a bianco-sopra-bianco ground.
The lamps emblazoned with ducal arms
with supporters of lions and white swans.
The lamps on original carved rosewood stands.
A small repair to the rim of one lamp.
The lamps standing on circular, turned and gilded bronze bases.
It is remarkable to find a pair of miniatures
still on their original rosewood stands.

FRENCH FAIENCE urn form pair of vases from Rouen;probably Nevers, early 18th century. The vases are painted "bleu de Perse" with polychrome armorial sheild or heraldric coat of arms, on cream pottery ground, with Urbino style village vignettes, dated and signed on side of vase, "1720 D.R" .
A very rare pair of vases, in excellent condition for the advanced collector of 18th century faience.

This is a tall and elegant CANTON ENAMEL VASE with unusual offset angled panels. The vase has a copper body, rolled copper rim, with applied baked enamel painted with Famille Rose varigated florals and butterflies on a soft turquoise bacground. The base is white enamel. There are no marks.
This vase dates to mid 20th century, and is exceptionally pleasing and well crafted with beautifully detailed flowers in the manner of Qianlong enameled vases.

Incredible large and fine allegorical figural BRONZE of winged angel carrying off a woman, 'THE ABDUCTION OF SPRING" The bronze figures stand a top a highly detailed reeded column. Exceptional fine patina, workmanship and details on this exquisite 18th Century French bronze..
The figures have just been cleaned and the details are even better than on first appearance. Simply stunning.

Here is a beautiful early Chinese FOO DOG JARDINIERE, of fine porcelain with brilliant underglaze Chinese red FOOS and flames.
The jardiniere is a perfect size, and most likely dates to pre 1920. Would be spectacular with an orchid and my Rouge de Fer Vase, listed here on Trocadero. #483540. Signed.

Stunning fine white BLANC DE CHINE porcelain vases with incredible gilt applied porcelain DRAGONS CHASING FLAMING PEARL. The detail is amazing, and the body of the porcelain is very fine. Great balance and elegance. I can not tell you much about these vases at this time other than they are Chinese, as shown by signature plaque, and I am uncertain as to date.
The pair will make a spectacular pair of lamps.
