This is most unique and delightful hand crafted set of six KOKESHI type dolls, with truly elegant style and winsome charm.
Each doll is made of carefully selected wood, individually painted with details to show off the grain on each doll. The tallest figure is 4.5 inches. Additionally, the dolls come with a black wooden stand, which is 14.5 inches in length, and signature plaque. Also included are the original wrapings and original decorative paper box.

Here is a wonderful post WWII Japanese doll in kimono in her own wooden storage box complete with shelving for six hair wigs, and also a small postiche which is a bang fringe.
This doll is not only adorable but fun. She is porcelain, possibly gofun, and her kimono is hand stitched in a small scale juvenile print. Her obi is gold and red brocade. All items including the paper label on box, instructional photos,wigs and hair ornaments as well as the doll and box are in exceptional condition. The wigs are human hair and crafted beautifully.
