Sold With Much Thanks to Indiana PLEASE SEE MY OTHER SAMSON LISTINGS!

SAMSON porcelain is one of my favorite things to collect. I am pleased to offer this delightful large and unusual box in the form of stacked books.
This is very typical of the Armorial works of Samson of Paris, made to imitate Chinese Export. Many collectors believe Samson did better copies than the originals.
The box and gilt rim is all intact and the polychrome details are sharp, highlighted by the embossed raised details so familiar to Samson.
I can not tell you if the box is signed as the bottom is covered with old green felt. However, I can tell you that Samson prices are skyrocketing as pieces are grabbed up by collectors! This box is very special.
*PLEASE SEE MY OTHER SAMSON PORCELAINS.
Dimensions: Length 6"(15cm)
Width 4"10cm)
Height 2 3/4"(7cm)
Condition: Very Good. Normal wear for the period. No breaks or chips or hairlines.
