IMARI Pottery Charger Plate early 19th century, probably earlier. foliate rim with white and black cranes,dense foliage and a central iron red writhing dragon medallion.
Qianlong sealmark with Japanese characters. Dimensions: 15"(38cm)width 2"(5cm) depth Condition: Very Good. Appropriate for the period, a very faint 1/2" tight surface hairline bottom right edge (5 o'clock) which does not go through. |
