This is a very large 14"(30.50cm) imposing MEIPING porcelain vase. There is a soft motif of flying birds branches and blossoms in a subtle and elegant style which reminds me of Chinese scroll paintings. There is an under the glaze crackle effect which is difficult to see, but very pleasing on this vase. The vase is signed by the artist and has a caligraphy poem. I would date this vase to the 1950's,Chinese Studio pottery. Dimensions: 14"(35.50cm) Height 12"(30.50cm) Width at shoulder 5"(12.50cm) Base Condition: Excellent, no chips or damage |
