This is a magnificent Japanese cloisonne GINBARI ENAMEL LAMP. The enamels and foil work are breathtaking, and the choice of color for the background (emerald green) and the detail to the florals is unmatched. I have taken the lamp apart today, and there is a very old red paper sticker under the base. I do not see a mark, or signature, though this is surely from a studio of the caliber of Ando. Lamp dates to late 19, or early 20th century Japan. Dimensions 12"(30.50cm) Height 5 1/2"(13.50cm)Width 28"(71cm)Top of Harp to base Condition: Excellent. No damage, chips or scratches to lamp.
