EUGENE CLAUSS PARIS PORCELAIN FIGURE 19th Century
A fine EUGENE CLAUSS figural porcelain French Noblewoman ,signed on base with crossed swords E above C below, dates to 1850's

Use of the Meissen crossed swords mark resulted in a law suit by KPM Meissen. The E C between the swords stand for (Marc) Eugene Clauss grandson of Jean-Marie Clauss who purchased the Paris manufactory from Jean-Baptiste Locre in 1820.

Eugene Clauss is highly sought by collectors of French and Meissen collectors for the exceptional artistic details.
