| A beautifully painted oil on canvas, signed and dated, Maria Therese Bru.. 1908. The serene and lovely young woman is ready to kiss a white dove, Perhaps this is symbolic for the hope of peace. The painting is done in soft muted blues and greens, and I have just had it custom framed with an exceptional wooden and gessoed frame which really compliments the blue and green tonal hues. The signature is faded, and I do not know the last name of the artist. The painting was purchased in Uruguay, mostlikely Spanish.
