Nanking mazarine made in Jingdezhen for the North American market, c. 1790-1810. About 14" L x 10-7/8" W x 1/4" H and in excellent condition with no damage and no repairs. This pattern, sometimes called "inclined pines" after motifs in the background, with a trellis-diaper and spearhead border is usually termed "Nanking". Restored foliate Chinese export porcelain plate in the tobacco leaf pattern, c. 1760-1770. About 8-3/4" diameter. Apparently restuck and overpainted in places. Please note the shallow chip to the underside of the rim, visible to the reverse. Original enamel and gilt appear for the most part intact. Presents well, though not pristine. Shipping at cost.

Magnificent, large late 17th, early 18th C. Chinese export charger in the Kraak style attributed to the Late Ming or Early Kangxi period. Decorated in the silvery blue correct for the period with an unctuous glaze. The central with a spray of flowers and a bee. The male flower has had his pollen taken by the bee which is fertilizing the female flower next to him. This plate was used as a talisman for infertile couples.
