Fine Chinese export chestnut basket and matching under tray in the Nanking or "Inclined Pines" pattern, c. 1790-1810. Undamaged. No chips, frits, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The handles are intact and have not been restuck. Tray measures 9-1/4" x 8-1/8". Basket is 8-5/8" x 6-1/4". Overall height is about 4-5/8". Insured shipping at cost.

A finely potted and decorated pair of porcelain plates with foliate, barbed rims. Not dating from the 17th c. but from a later period. Miniscule bubbles and firing flaws in glaze suggest a 19th c. wood-fired kiln. Not modern reproductions. About 6-1/2" x 1". Perfect condition with no chips, frits, cracks, hairlines or repairs.
