A very interesting dish painted in underglaze blue and additional enamels and decorated with a pattern of five panels to the border; three panels containing respectively pine, matsu, bamboo, take, and prunus, ume,the shochikubai , the three friends of Winter. The remaining two panels containing Omaneshi , Patrina, and Yugagiku, the Japanese Aster, representing the Seven Plants of Autumn.
