A very unusual Chinese version of an Arita copy of a Dutch Delft Apothecary’s Jar, or albarello. The jar is decorated with four panels of floral motifs in famille rose enamels , alternating with Lotus Flowers supporting a Vase containing Peonies, and Prunus Blossom with a large Camelia bloom. The borders of the panels painted with an elegant Peach leaf arabesque in underglaze cobalt blue. A rare shonzui style deep serving dish of typical form with raised rim with an irregular scalloped rim made specifically for the Japanese market and the kaiseki meal, The centre decorated with a fisherman beneath a large pine tree. The border decorated with Shonsui style diaper patterns painted in reverse style, with bamboo and prunus completing the Three Friends of Winter motif. A good Chinese export dish of moulded Chrysanthemum form decorated in underglaze blue and iron red and gilding. The border divided into a series of sixteen panels containing various floral motifs including chrysanthemum, Pinks and other autumn flowers. The centre decorated with rocks, Peonies and a bird, presumably a Magpie, to complete an auspicious wish for happiness, wealth and longevity. An interesting Chinese porcelain spoon heavily decorated in bright famille rose enamels, principally blue, green and puce inset with an Urdu inscription to the centre of the bowl indicating that it formed part of a service made for the Nawab Feizsalar and Begum Sahibe in 1814 or 1804. Shop mark to the underside of the bowl in underglaze blue. In very good condition, some minute rim frits, no cracks, chips or restoration. It measures 11.7cm in length.

A rare Chinese porcelain spoon made for the Indian Market and specifically Muhammed Ali Khan Wallajah (1717-1795), the Nawab of Arcot and the Carnatic. It is decorated in iron red and green enamels with gilding and has a moulded butterfly finial. The spoon measures 12.8cm in length and is in excellent condition and has an old collectors label attached to the underside of the bowl of the spoon.

An unusually large Chinese blue and white covered jar decorated with the Hawthorn or Prunus pattern dating to the late nineteenth or early twentieth century, late Qing period. The base signed with a double circle. The jar measures 34.5cm or 13.6 inches high including its lid, and is 23cm, 9.06 inches in diameter at its widest point.
