A very finely gilded and enamelled small bowl with slightly incurving rim. The bowl is decorated with foliate Kinrande style arabesque, characteristic of Chinese porcelain of the Jiajing period, with elaborate Aoi mon inset with a further lotus motif. Inserted within this ground are two reserves.
