Largest and best footed Canton bowl we have ever seen. Dating from the late 19th C. with convoluted rim and orange peel glaze, it measures about 14.75" x 11-3/8" x 3.5". "Pekingese & Parrot" pattern attributed to Cornelius Pronk (1691-1759). In 1734 Pronk was appointed by the Dutch East India Company to develop original designs for porcelain to be manufactured in China.
