Large Kakiemon type plate, about 9.5" (24cm) in diameter. Finely potted and exquisitely enameled on a milky white ground. As most of our friends know, the Kakiemons were originally enamellers. Their consummate skill may be seen in our closeups. The rim still has its original gilt, as do the flower arrangements and woven fences. All enamels are fresh and bright. We find no wear, no damage and no repairs. Insured shipping at cost.
