A fine Chinese Export porcelain dish copying a Japanese Arita original. It dates to the late Yongzheng or early Qianlong period c.1730-50. It is decorated in a Chinese Imari style palette of iron red, green enamels, underglaze blue and gilding. See Inventory number 1534 for an Japanese Arita example of similar form. Overall the dish is in excellent condition except for a chip to the reverse. The dish is 11.5in long and approximately 8 wide. Additional images on request. Shipping at Cost.

A Chinese export blue and white plate late Yongzheng or early Qianlong decorated in London c.1740-50 with enamels in a famille rose style palette including pink, white, yellow, brown, green and black enamels together with an iron red wash. The enamels carefully applied over the under-glaze blue outlines of Peony sprigs and a central spray of Buddha’s hand citron, Persimmon. A superb set of five large export fan shaped sweetmeat dishes made for the European export market painted in the traditional Imari palette of iron red, gilding and underglaze blue. The dishes date to the first decade of the 18th century circa 1710, dishes of the same form and with similar decoration are to be found in the inventory of those porcelains acquired before 1723 in the Dresden collection. An 18th century tall bottle vase of unusual proportions, the slightly compressed globular body surmounted by a tall, wide flared chimney neck, the whole atop a ring foot and covered entirely in a luxurious pale celadon "youqing" glaze. A large shallow dish, heavily potted, curving gently up from a ring foot, covered in a beautiful celadon glaze producing the "iron wire, golden thread" crackles of the Geyao type glaze (revived to great popularity in the 18th and 19th centuries in homage of the earlier Song Dynasty Ge wares). Song dynasty porcelain bowl from the Zhejiang kilns with pale olive celadon glaze, rarer than Qingbai, and incised cloud decoration. About 6.5" (16.25cm) x 2.25" (5.5cm). Minute white accretions suggest this was a burial piece. Good condition with small chips to the rim. No cracks, hairlines or repairs. Authenticity is guaranteed. Shipping at cost from Hawaii.

Song Dynasty brush washer with qingbai (icy blue) glaze and incised floral motif, circa 960-1279 AD. 13.5 cm x 2.5 cm. Cavetto is slightly convex due to the dish being fired on its rim. Finely potted and translucent, the dish is in excellent condition: No damage and just a tiny bit of roughness to the rim, once encircled by a metal ring. "A Canoe of the Sandwich Islands, the Rowers Masked", about 10.25" x 8.25". The copper plate impression is about 9.5" x 7.5".
