Famille Rose Teapot - Rare Sheep Motif - 18th C.

Rare and unusual Chinese export teapot with silver mounted spout. Decorated with sheep and peonies in the famille rose palette, c. 1765. Some glaze lines and one hairline to the body, two tiny frits and a small shallow chip to the rim of the lid. Otherwise perfect. About 13,2cm (5,2") high with lid and 19,3cm ( 7,6") wide.
