Fine Daishoji Imari Chrysanthemum Charger Meji
A large Kutani Daishoji Imari style dish decorated in a combination of under-glaze blue and enamels featuring a Chrysanthemum motif, kiko-mon, set against a brocade ground with a border pattern of traditional Hagi karakusa with hosoge mon, flowers of precious appearance, here a curious amalgam of Chrysanthemums, Lotus and sacred fungus. The reverse decorated with a continuous band of lotus karakusa and a fuku mark. The dish measures 27cm, just over 10.5 inches in diameter, and stands approximately 4cm, just over 1.5 inches, to the rim and weighs 632gm. Shipping at Cost.
