Beautifully marked silver horseshoe toast rack. Also makes a great desk accessory for letters and other things. Use it in your tack room for back numbers to keep them in one place. Not familar with the hallmarks. It does not look British nor American. It is priced as silverplate, although it does look like sterling. It has not been tested for silver content. This is a fabulous silverplate Fox adorned clock and barometer presentation trophy. It is tagged with a removeable shield shaped silver medal which reads R.I.E.C. 1894 HALF MILE R.J. Riddell. Comes with original key. Backs remove to set time and make adjustments. In the front the clock and barometer are beautifully surrounded with horseshoes and nails. This is a handy magazine rack. Great for all your Chronicles, Plaid Horses, and Practical Horsemans. Put prize lists from your upcoming horse shows in one place. It's a darker stained wood (either mahogany or pine?) and has a beautiful fox hunting scene inserted in the front. Tall slender handle makes it look contemporary although it dates from the late 70's. This is an old taxidermy from the 1930's. It is a turtle which appears to be in the tortoise family. It's shell appears to be same material used in old boxes and eyeglass frames.It has glass (I believe glass)eyes and is stitched on the bottom with a hanging hook.It is in good condition for its age, no cracks or chips from what I can see except one toe seems to be missing. From the fifties, this is a fabulous cold painted fox and hound bronze car mascot. It is already mounted for all you collectors on a stained wood base with felt on bottom. The fox and hound are in great detail, they are hunting something in Full Cry! Little paint loss. Marked Made in England. He even has a nice ass!!!!(that's in the dictionary!) This is a rare Royal Doulton terrier name card holder. Cannot see the markings because it is attached to the marble base, but it is the older Royal Doulton canine # K8 series or HN910. Also mounted to the marble base is a sterling silver name card holder. This piece is extremely rare. The frame is beautifully marked with O B which I believe is Ollivant & Botsford.
