Rare set of handcolored engravings from 1888. Artist Proofs, all original. Hand SIgned by each Huntsman. In original black wooden frames with gold edging. Newly re-matted. Moderate foxing, but color is still so vibrant. Each measures 19" x 22" tall. These are original engravings, NOT REPROS. Wonderful set of 10 Henry Alken hand-colored aquatints in original matching wood frames. "Notions" series. Hilariously Comical! Purchased in England, These are very old bookplates circa the 1830's. Each framed piece measures 14.5" x 12". Very rare to find such a large matching set. There is substantial foxing and wear to frames, but this is just adds to their authenticity.
