This is a handy magazine rack. Great for all your Chronicles, Plaid Horses, and Practical Horsemans. Put prize lists from your upcoming horse shows in one place. It's a darker stained wood (either mahogany or pine?) and has a beautiful fox hunting scene inserted in the front. Tall slender handle makes it look contemporary although it dates from the late 70's. This is an old taxidermy from the 1930's. It is a turtle which appears to be in the tortoise family. It's shell appears to be same material used in old boxes and eyeglass frames.It has glass (I believe glass)eyes and is stitched on the bottom with a hanging hook.It is in good condition for its age, no cracks or chips from what I can see except one toe seems to be missing. Beautiful Heisey grouping of a etched glass crystal martini shaker and handled ice bucket. The shaker as well as the ice bucket has gorgeous fox hunting scenes etched on both sides. Shaker is complete with 2 ground glass stoppers, a regular stopper and one with holes for pouring as well as a lip. This is my favorite original art work. It is a mid century watercolor by sport horse artist Wallace. Do not know much about him although I know he specializes in famous racehorses. A comic relief set of two decanters and 12 glasses, 6 low balls and 6 high balls. All appear to be hand painted with various scenes from the hunting field. From falling off, getting kicked, to toasting 1 or 2 or 3.... All in great condition. Matching decanters have glass ground stoppers both having a little roughness to the tips from use. Display great, humorous, and great for the Holidays. So rare to find a complete set. Tray and barometer not included.

Pair of deco period hand reverse painted and foiled fox hunting scenes. The first depicts a huntsman walking on horseback with his hounds at his side. The second picture is of the huntsman jumping a brush and water obstacle. Each can be hung or stand with attached easel back. Measure 5.25 inches square with black painted wooden frame.
