This is my favorite original art work. It is a mid century watercolor by sport horse artist Wallace. Do not know much about him although I know he specializes in famous racehorses. Vintage handpainted red fox on slate. Signed by artist. Ready to hang with hemp hanging loop. Slate is 10" X 10". Fox nestled in leaves and branches. Believe its origin is Northeast USA region. If you love a good fox portrayal, this is it. Beautifully done from the head to tail....and those eyes! Excellent condition. Normal pitting in slate but no cracks or chipping around edges.
