We have been in the jewelry business since the mid 1980’s, having been part of a family-owned fine jewelry store in eastern Massachusetts. Since 1999 we have limited our endeavors to selling on the internet – meaning we no longer have a brick-and-mortar storefront. Most of our business is now done through Trocadero because of its high caliber merchants and clients. We do occasionally sell on ebay as a means of advertising our site. Though trained by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in colored gems and diamonds, our Estate925 business specializes in our first love - primarily vintage silver designer jewelry from Taxco/Mexico, Denmark and other Scandinavian countries, the US and Europe. We also deal occasionally in some period decorative arts such as Arts & Crafts metal ware. This is a “part-time” business in the sense that we have other obligations that share our time. We are also often out during the day canvassing the countryside looking for finds at the numerous auctions, estate sales and antique shops! Therefore, the best way to contact us is by email. We make every attempt to answer inquiries within 12-24 hours. If a phone call is needed, we will try to arrange something to make sure that all of your questions have been addressed. However, this is not always immediately possible. Returns are not a problem if you are unhappy with your purchase. We stand behind our items.
