Here is one fine vintage Fred Davis sterling silver and amethyst necklace, made in Taxco Mexico circa 1950's. Each of the sterling links surrounds a bezel set natural amethyst cabachon. The wearable length is about 16 inches, and is about 7/8 inches wide. Total weight is 78 grams. Very nice vintage condition with minor age wear, no damage and a nice age patina. Correctly marked SILVER, MEXICO, with the conjoined FD stamp.
Exceptionally long 28 inch (Thats right... 28 inch!) vintage LOS CASTILLO Sterling wings motif necklace with matching 980 silver bracelet. William Spratling first design period 1931-44 bracelet of alternating rows of vertical natural amethyst cabchons(24 total) and sterling half domes. Wearable length at 6 3/4-7/8 closed x 1 3/16 wide. Marked with WS print circle market. Good vintage condition with patina and a little wear but nothing to note except a replaced older safety chain.
Classic Antonio Pinenda sterling silver and moonstone necklace. Made in Taxco circao 1950-60's. The necklace consists of 15 'C'-shaped swirls of sterling about 1 inch long, with bezel set 3/4 x 1/4 inch oval cabochon moonstones. Each is milky white and opalescent with a glint of pale blue in certain lights.
