Here is one fine vintage Fred Davis sterling silver and amethyst necklace, made in Taxco Mexico circa 1950's. Each of the sterling links surrounds a bezel set natural amethyst cabachon. The wearable length is about 16 inches, and is about 7/8 inches wide. Total weight is 78 grams. Very nice vintage condition with minor age wear, no damage and a nice age patina. Correctly marked SILVER, MEXICO, with the conjoined FD stamp.
Exceptionally long 28 inch (Thats right... 28 inch!) vintage LOS CASTILLO Sterling wings motif necklace with matching 980 silver bracelet. This is an early 1940's set having the old style block lettering marks. Overall dimentions of the necklace is 28 inches long x 1 3/8 inches wide. Weighs 171.2 grams!
