Here is of the best renditions of this rare bracelet that we have ever seen! Exceptional classic William Spratling sterling silver cuff bracelet. Pictured in several books, such as Morrill and Berk's Mexican Silver.

When first offered this was Spratling’s most expensive piece as it took more time and skill than anything else he produced. It is quintessential Spratling and embodies the very best of the golden era of Taxco silversmithing.

This masterpiece is considered to be one of Spratlings most iconic, and was originally his most expensive bracelet. It consists of carved amethysts in the shape of stylized tulips (often broken) held by silver hands. Good weight and finish as you would expect. Made circa 1940-1960. Excellent condition. It has not been broken and re-soldered, as is often the case with these.

Measures about 2 3/4 inches high in front. Has a 2 1/4 inch diameter. Total wearable length is 6 1/4 including the 3/4 inch opening in the back, which will fit up to a medium wrist. Marks: "Spratling Silver" in an oval, "Spratling Made in Mexico" in circle surrounding the "WS" mark. One amethyst is slightly darker than the other as can been seen in the pictures.

Note: Cuffs are meant to fit more snug than a link bracelet.
