Vintage 1950-60's Los Castillo sterling parure set comprised of matching necklace, bracelet and earrings. Very likely a Margot design, when she was married to Antonio Castillo and designed many items for them. The motif is very nicely detailed bow, with somewhat of a Margot influence. The necklace measures 16 1/2 inches long x 1 wide. Marked in block letters LOS CASTILLO, TAXCO, STERLING, MADE IN MEXICO, 445. The bracelet has a wearable length of 7 1/8 inches x 1 wide. Same markings as the necklace. The screw-back earrings are 1 x 1 inches. Marked Los Castillo Mexico (worn) and on the other - Made in Mexico Sterling (worn) |
