Stunning original McClelland Barclay oil painting of the glamorous 1930's superstar of screen and stage, Kay Francis, wearing a revealing backless dress. Painted circa 1930's, wearing colorful and captivating jazz age attire in her prime. Known for her flamboyant behavior, several failed marriages, and steamy affairs Kay was the Marilyn Monroe of her day. She was Hollywood's highest paid actress of the era until a legal fallout with Warner Studios, after which she was replaced by newcomer... Bette Davis.
