It was used to showcase the Jeweler's custom design and goldsmithing capabilities. It was made in the early-mid 1980's. There is no other like it in the world. Take a close look at the artistry and substance of this piece. Then go take a look at other cookie cutter, production pieces costing two, three times as much... The mounting is a hand-made, 14K gold, specifically constructed for the high quality large 9.35 ct fancy-cut faceted blue topaz, that has the look of a fine aquamarine. The topaz is surrounded with 7 high quality VS / G-H white round brilliant faceted diamonds. Having a total weight of 0.25 carats, the diamonds are graduating in size. The ring is sized to fit a 6 1/4 finger and can be resized. It measures roughly 3/4 inch side-to-side x 5/8 inch front-to-back The ring weighs 12 grams total weight. This one is an ATTENTION getter.
