Take a Break, come and visit Exmoor, a weekend will wet your appetite, imagine England 50 years ago, on the moors in Lorna Doone Country, this will be the best holiday of your life.

By road:

From the north and east leave the M5 at J23 and take the A38 to Bridgewater. Take the A39 westwards towards Williton, Minehead, Porlock and then to Lynmouth. At Lynmouth continue bearing right at the B3234 signposted to Lynbridge and Barbrook. After appx 500mtrs turn right at the hair-pin bend to Lynton, continue up Castle Hill to the church on the right. Farthings of Exmoor is on the left.

From the south and west leave Barnstaple on the A39 towards Lynton. At Blackmoor Gate turn right then immediately left towards Lynton. At Barbrook (Petrol Station) turn left onto the B3234 towards Lynbridge and Lynmouth. Continue past the first turning on the left signposted to Lynton, and proceed through Lynbridge to junction with the hair-pin bend. Keep to the left and continue up Castle Hill to the church on the right. Farthings of Exmoor is on the left.

By rail: The nearest major station is Tiverton Parkway. If you require car hire, it would be best to get off at Taunton where there is an Avis and other car hire facilities. Barnstaple also has a station - you will need to change at Exeter.

Journey times: London or Birmingham to Tiverton Parkway is approx 2 to 2.5 hours depending on whether you need to change at Taunton.
