the horses head is attached to a marble wall, each brick has been beautiful carved with the base having a more flecked theme of carving like that of a stone floor but in this case its actually creamy white marble.
in total measures 9" tall x x 4 1/2" wide x x 5 1/2" deep, the quality and use of marble indicate that it's an Austrian piece although it could be French? it certainly would have been produced at the height of The Animalier sculptors era circa 1880-1900
Because its carved out of marble the item is quite heavy and substantial, we will post anywhere in the world at cost.
