Rare Silver plated over bronze cast Whippet or Greyhound dog on marble base, circa 1920 after the French Animalier Sculptor P.J. Mene, very fine detail showing a Whippet or Greyhound, Silver patina, No knocks, dents or restoration. Signed to tummy "Silver Plated" Measures 7" x 6 1/4" x 4" approx. This is a genuine Circa 1920 cast as can be seen from the detail. P.J. Mene, French (1810-1877) was the most successful Animalier sculptor of all time.

Exquisite Austrian Vienna Bronze circa 1930 Mallard Duck. This duck, including original polychrome finish, is in MINT condition. There are NO wear marks. There is no visible stamp mark on this figurine but it's hard to view the underside. The duck stands 3” tall and is 3 1/4” wide from beak to tail and weighs 7 oz. The duck is attached to a 2x2 inch square marble slab base.

Exquisite Austrian Vienna Bronze circa 1930 Ground Squirrel with peanut. This exquisite chap is very heavy for his size, he stands 1 3/4” tall and is 2 1/2” wide from nut to tail and weighs 3 oz. he is very finely detailed and painted with little wear to the polychrome finish, I would say very good condition, signed faintly across chest "austria"

She had items designed and made for her exclusively by Hagenauer and other Austrian workshops. Circa 1940s 50s. Measures 2 1/4" x 2". Signed to base with Rena Rosenthal mark and "Made in Austria" Mint Condition. Worthy of the best Austrian Vienna Bronze Collection. Sold - thanks

Museum quality Bronze medal by Alexandre Morlon (Listed) Bronze plaquette. Measures 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" approx Extremely fine showing the face of an Egyptian style lady in a typically Art Deco headdress, from behind shoot jagged arrows with berries and leaves. words read: "A Henry Abraham Professeur a la Sorbonne. L'ecole Normale Supereiure ses Amis, ses Eleves 1938" the reverse is the image of Henry Abraham and Morton signature, in wonderfully unblemished original condition. Signed to side "Bronze"

Taken from The Dictionary of Sculpters in Bronze by James Mackey "Alexandre Morlon born 1878 in Macon France. He studied under Falguiere and Mercie and Exhibited at the Salon in 1900. He specialised in allegorical figures and is famous for the standing figure of Victory used for the Allied Victory medal (1918). He modelled pieces used for coinage, medals and war memorials. Examples of his work can be found in the Mint Museum, Paris and the Ghent museum."
