This is an Outstanding item of Taxidermy by W.K. Petherick Bird and Animal Preserver of East Reach Taunton in 1899, the Deer slot is mounted on a Mahogany Wood Shield and has an original Newspaper report about this particular hunt, pasted onto the reverse, the Deer slot is retained by a large round headed Bronze patina screw, brass loop to top for hanging, to the reverse in black paint it reads;
