This is a stunning museum quality large Chinese elephant ivory figural group featuring a fu dog and many warriors. It stands a magnificent 12 3/4 inches for the ivory alone, not including the attached wooden plinth. The only damage is that the top warriors sword is glued on. The only parts of the carving that are not part of the single tusk is the spear held out by a lower warrior and the tip of the flag but not the pole. These two pieces slip into holes in the carving.

Nice 7 inch tall or approximately 17 cm tall antique circa 1920s Japanese elephant ivory figure of two Samurai fighters engaging in battle. Sadly, the standing Samurai has his sword missing. He is shown with the sword barely glued on for the photo. It had been glued and I could not reglue it safely. However I do have the sword. The spike behind the standing Samurai is meant to come out and is present. No other damage or restorations.

Fabulous Chinese 1950s necklace featuring an elephant ivory horse (one piece of tusk). Also, celedon nephrite jade and white nephrite jade as well as silver and black amethyst. I have not seen anything like it. It has a hook clasp marked 995 or 925. It is hard to make out. No damage whatsoever, ready to wear!

$900 CHRISTMAS SALE ONLY THROUGH JAN 1ST

Wonderful circa 1920s-1930s Japanese elephant ivory elephant bridge on ornate teak wood stand. Good size measuring 30.5 cm or 12 inches in a straight line not including stand. No damage or restorations. The front (largest) elephant is a little whiter than the others which are creamy white though I am quite sure it is original. The stand is also very, very likely original though it is just slightly too long for the ivory but is a perfect fit in width.

Interesting old Japanese elephant ivory netsuke in the form of a strange animal that looks to be part foo dog and part frog or toad. The age is approximately 1930s. It is 1 1/2 inches long, in excellent condition and signed on the underside. Check my other listings for more Japanese netsukes, most of them elephant ivory.

Nice little set of mirror image Chinese elephant ivory 1950s carvings. Each depict a boy or man on horseback. Sadly both have some damage. The worst one is the one shown on the left. His head dress has some chips and the end of his sword is chipped off. The other only has a piece of the boy's sword chipped off. Each stand 4 inches tall and are 2 1/2 inches wide. Check my other listings for a similar piece of the same era with a boy riding a fu dog rather than a horse.
