| This is an absolutely outstanding, museum quality circa 1900 Japanese travel shrine made of elephant ivory with metal hinges signed by the maker: Kodo. Don't let its small size fool you...there is so much work in this tiny shrine, ivory carved to almost paper thin in places. Ornately carved everywhere. Stands 3 1/6 inches tall, is 5 1/8 inches opened in diameter and 2 1/2 inches in diameter when closed. There is no damage and no restorations. The outside could use a light cleaning though the inside is clean and white. Ask about my no interest lay away plan. I can make sure that anyone can own anything on my website by arranging payments to suit the buyer. | |||||||||||||||
