| A superb circa 1890 Chinese elephant ivory carving of Kwanyin with a nude boy at her feet. Carved from one solid piece of tusk this carving is extremely well done down to the stream of water pouring from her vase. It is large standing 14 1/2 inches tall on the attached wooden stand and standing 11 3/4 inches for the ivory alone. There is no damage and no restorations. Please note, however, that the stand is a bit loose on the ivory. | |||||||||||||||
