This is a traditional Chinese brush painting of a beautiful deer with sharp antlers. He looks so proud and grand. The silk is old and is clearly at least 19th century. Signature and seal is of an 18th century artist Tsou I-Kwei (1682-1772). He was famous for painting animals, flowers and birds. The painting is in a simple wooden frame. A fine Qing dynasty jade archer ring of a transluscent light green with striations. Most likely early to mid 19th century. Due to the transluscence, it takes on the color of the background.
