A lovely Hawkes bowl from the American Brilliant Cut period. It has a toothed scalloped rim with deep mitre cuts and stars. 8" diameter and about 3 1/2" high. Etched Hawkes hawk mark on the bottom hard to photograph. Outstanding condition, only one tooth has tiny shallow flake barely visible. Rings beautifully.
Outstanding holiday value from estate of old China Trade sea captain.
A cheerful set of 6 bright yellow Shelley 7.5" English bone china plates. All with an early Shelley mark. If you are interested in the transition of Foley-Shelley back stamps this is the mark which was occasionally used by Foley around 1910-1912 when they exported to the U.S. as Shelley. (Wileman Foley, which pre-dated Shelley, exported to the U.S. under the trade name Shelley while they used the Wileman-Foley or Foley backstamp in England. Confusing!)

A Bohemian decanter set with original stopper and 6 shot or schnaps glasses having slightly flaring rim. The wheel cut pattern on every piece is of a central European hunting lodge theme with deer and flamingos plus pavillion. While the flamingo looks pretty serene the deer is surely taking flight. High quality glass. From the 19th century.

A --- rare American Brilliant Period cut fruit or ""orange"" bowl in a lively form and with the classic daisy & button --- pattern. The entire surface is covered with the pattern leaving only the clear foot-ring. This is a pattern often found in early pattern glass. Not often found in cut glass. Nice sharp & deep cuts. Beautiful ring. Quite likely Pairpoint or one of the related New England makers.

A fine Chinese famille rose tea caddy from the 1700s. The hat shaped lid has a very nice fruit form finial as the old ones often do. The vessel itself has a shoulder conforming well with the shape of the lid. This is the form copied by Meissen in the 18th century for their tea caddies. Rare grisaille color decorations very spartan and detailed, pure 18th century!
A fine antique expandable silver trivet with 4 little ball feet and handles. Lots of open work. The nice hand chased design has 2 pairs of facing lions which look like the MGM lion in profile and with sharp claws fun! Marked Pairpoint Sheffield as shown.

The included silver plate tray is of the same pattern. The set is about 120 years old.
An original hand colored Currier & Ives lithograph "Moonlight in Fairyland". A rare scene for Currier & Ives, showing a winged fairy waving her magic wand in a lily pond and under a full moon. Very idyllic.
Image 9" by 13", in a double matt and an old frame, 17" by 21". Slightest hint of stain, good color.
