A wonderful book on Japanese woodblock prints edited by Amy Newland and Chris Uhlenbeck, published by Mallard Press. There are many books on ukiyo-e. But this is one of the recent ones which includes the Osaka school, Shin Hanga and Sosaku Hanga. There is a discussion of the technique of print making. These modern developments can be seen in context with the entire tradition. Over 200 excellent quality color plates are included. Table of contents in the second picture.
