A fine Victorian period sterling & ivory cheese scoop, or perhaps marrow scoop. Long ivory handle with a generous sterling scoop. Wonderful patina. London marks for 1878 and maker is George Adams of Chawner & Co., major spoon maker of the era.
11.2" long scoop bowl is 2.2" x 1.25". No cracks creases or dents in ivory or sterling. Very good condition. Please Email if you have questions." |
