A tall American Brilliant Period compote with star and button cuts along the periphery and engraved cuts as well with 3 butterflies amongst the foliage and flowers.. Notched stem and petal cut footrim. Very heavy with a nice ring.
Stands about a foot tall, 6 1/2 inch rim diameter and 5 1/2 footrim diameter. Very good condition with only some roughness to the touch along some teeth. About 100-110 years old. A very beautiful and unusually cut ABP compote. Just look at how the light disperses at the stem! Be sure to see my other ABP cut glass listed now, including a huge vase with butterflies. |
