A large, deep and clear cobalt Bohemian art glass vase decorated with brightly colored quezal birds and silver flowers. Thick enamels with silver highlights and very well drawn. Mark of Czechoslavia. 1930s.
12" wide and 5" at the shoulder. Very good condition with no flakes or cracks. Enamel also in good condition. Glass color is a deep clear cobalt, color density changes with lighting conditions. See the color of the 3rd picture taken with flash indoors. The 4th pic is with filtered sunlight partly through the vase and flash from the front. This is an unusual art vase which will stand out from the crowd. |
