A fine Imperial mark and of the period Qianlong blue and white bottle vase. 9 circular bands of waves, ruyi lappets, palm leaves, and floral vine scrolls decorating the vase. Molded rings around shoulder area (see shoulder close-up). Fairly high and flaring footrim. 6 character underglazed imperial mark of Qianlong.
15" high and 9" diameter at the shoulder. Excellent condition, no chips cracks or repairs. Deep cobalt blue. A classic Qianlong period design and form. Occasionally seen at major auctions.
