Hong Kong $1000 Gold Coin-Lunar Year of Pig 1983

Hong Kong $1000 Gold Coin of Lunar Year of the Pig for 1983. Hongkong issued its lst gold coin in 1976 to begin the 12 year lunar year series. The pig is the 7th, in 1983. All the coins are 22 carats and 15.976 grams, with a face value of HK$1000 for legal tender.

This is an uncirculated coin and the series typically strikes 20,000 coins each year. Fine condition in the original clear plexi case.
