A fine landscape fan painting by listed artist Zhu WenQing, a 19th century Wuxi artist. He was skilled in landscape, genre, flowers and birds. Full calligraphy poem on the reverse side by Yang JinXun. Both painting and calligraphy are dedicated to a friend. Both are signed and sealed. Dated summer of 1861.
About 20" by 12.5". Very good condition, gold finish paper on fine embellished lacquer sticks. No tears or stains. |
