This is very neat! Depicting a Mexican Man in a Sombrero Hat where the top of the hat is a Red glass stone like a deep red garnet. The Hat screws off and you can add perfume to the inside of the brooch and it has a dobber. How Neat is that! Measures 1.5 inches tall by just shy of 1.25 inches wide. This is a very nice early brooch. c. 1930-1940s. We believe it is carved out of Malachite that has a deep dark green jade appearance. Not signed or stamped but is guaranteed to test for solid sterling silver. It is in the shape of a flower or cover and it caged in Wonderful thick sterling bands on top of the front of the stone in a criss cross manner and then has a ball in center for a perfect look.
