| This is Exceedingly Beautiful. It is a Oil on Canvas. c. 1890-1900s. Signed... "Forress" (we believe either Italian or French). This is a special listing for me as this Oil Painting has been in my Father's House for many years and I grew up and admired it. It is So Beautiful, Tasteful & Elegant. Depicting a still life of a Bountiful Display of Flowers over Flowing out of a Basket with Wonderful Art Nouveau Flowing Cloth in the back ground having it's Original hand carved or planed Frame. It is Gorgeous! The colors are very rich in hues of Lavender, Pink, Rose, Greens, and Earth tones having every shade in between making a Magnificent Statement as if the painting blends directly into the patina on the Original frame. The Frame measures 21.5 inches wide by 17.5 inches high, the Oil Canvas Painting itself within the frame measures 16 inches wide by 12.25 inches tall. Condition... The canvas has some minor waviness to it because of the contraction of the wood of the inner hidden frame it has been stretched over (easy adjustment to make this perfectly fitted), also... if you look closely at the picture you will see there is a minor area in the mid to upper right side of the painting where there is slight fading to the Oil itself from light (having the picture cleaned will bring back the vivid Beauty), and last the covering that is on the back of the frame has some damage and will simply need replace or over looked, as this is of course not at all noticeable when hung. Other than that, the whole painting is in Absolutely Superb Vintage condition with no other flaws or Damage. It is Exceptionally Beautiful. You will Love it!
